Owing to Parker's influence, the song has become a popular vehicle for jazz musicians and is considered a jazz standard. This contemporary arrangement makes use of a root-based chord-blocking technique that John and I have used in many of our arrangements. It's not too difficult for the intermediate-level player and it's fun to play. John and I hope you like it!
