Star Drums is a piece for a drum trio that consists of three different parts. A first part with rhythms of the style "Pop-Rock" with a section of improvisation for each of the drummers. A second part that tries to imitate a group of "batucada". And a final part that should be interpreted with sticks with light. This last section is a play of lights, so the movements of the sticks should be as exaggerated as they can, in the accents raise the sticks a lot and in the notes without accenting keep close to the drum head.
