This arrangement provides a fantastic arrangement of the St Louis Blues for Piano. No, this piece is not (and in my opinion, should not be) swung. St. Louis ragtime was generally not swung, and it seems obvious that this is St. Louis ragtime. It was also written before swing became popular, and thus would not have been swung when it was originally published. This is an ideal piece for someone wanting to explore the cross over from ragtime into blues.
