By Maynard Ferguson. By Steve Wiest. Arranged by Steve Wiest. Funk,Jazz,Rock. 201 pages. WIESTWORLD Publications LLC #925348. Published by WIESTWORLD Publications LLC (A0.1345027).

Here is the exciting original arrangment by multiple Grammy-nominated composer-trombonist Steve Wiest from the classic Maynard Ferguson recording "Live From San Fransisco." Steve has expanded it from the original smaller orchestration to fit today's full-sized large jazz ensemble. The form and sound remains the same as the original recording with solos for both trumpet and trombone. Voicings have been updated and a few new lines added by the composer to give the whole thing a new and fresh feel.

Included is a full score and parts with rehearsal tips by Steve Wiest

A perefect opener or closer for any big band show!
