Published by Austin Ralphson (A0.563247).Used in the Austin Powers films, this rhythmic instrumental seems to personify the 60s era. This arrangement contains all the nuances of the original such as the low pedal notes, the cheeky grace notes of the main flute theme and the rapid ascending phrases up to a high F. The arrangement is flexible in terms of ensemble: it can be performed by 4 standard flutes, or the Flute 4 part can be moved onto Alto Flute (this allows for some lower notes in the bass line), or indeed all 5 parts can be used together. The piece is great fun for players and audience alike. Enjoy!
