Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1024497

Composed by Bernadette M. Debattista. Arranged by Bernadette M. Debattista, Brad Esbensen. Spiritual. Octavo. 42 pages. Bernadette M Debattista #4638283. Published by Bernadette M Debattista (A0.1024497).

Drawing inspiration from the shores of Gallipoli, Song Of Peace was composed for the centenary commemoration of the ANZAC landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula on 25 April 1915. It was first performed at the Dawn Service on the Gallipoli Peninsula by a combined choir of students from St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace and All Hallows' School in 2015. This atmospheric piece creates a haunting image of lives lost and dreams shattered, ultimately leaving us with a message of hope that peace will be our inheritance. This arrangement is for SATB choir and will work well with both changed and unchanged voices. There is some flexibility in the accompaniment, allowing for strings or rhythm section only to accompany the choir, or both!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
