Recorded by the Gerry Mulligan Concert Jazz Band. Composed by Gerry Mulligan. Edited by Dylan Canterbury, Rob DuBoff, and Jeffrey Sultanof. Jazz, Straight Eighth. Score and parts. Published by Jazz Lines Publications (JL.JLP-7052).

Gerry Mulligan wrote and fist recorded this beautiful tribute to Billy Strayhorn in 1974 at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. He later recorded this big band arrangement of it in 1980 for the 'Walk on Water' album. This chart features a baritone saxophone soloist throughout with brilliant harmonic movement as a backdrop. For this publication, the original ensemble introduction has been included. This section was cut for the 1980 recording as Gerry opted for just a rhythm section intro. In addition, an optional guitar part has been included.

Trumpet 1: B5.
