Easy arrangements, challenging rhythms
It is Sondheim after all, so the rhythms in some pieces are challenging despite the very easy arrangements. I bought this for five pieces I especially wanted to play. I could do them by ear, but there are little touches in this book that I like better than my own versions.

Simply Playable
This album offers 15 of Sondheim's most singable songs, from 9 of his hit shows. These are simple arrangements in easy keys,but the chords are quite sophisticated, befitting the superior melodies. 'Pretty Women' from Sweeney Todd is a highlight
