Great resource for return to playing
I am a formerly advanced pianist just returning to playing now that I have retired from work and my kids are grown. This lovely collection of sonatinas, some of which I played for exams many decades ago, are a great resource for regaining dexterity and 'feel'. They are rewarding in their own right, while laying a good groundwork for future attempts at more challenging works by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. I am really enjoying them.

Sonatina Album for the piano
I had this book growing up. The price printed on the cover of my copy is $1.50. I just ordered 3 copies at today's price for my 3 children. I really loved this book with some of the selections being a little easier, some a little harder. They are not condensed or simplified but the actual Sonatinas. The selections are all pretty upbeat with parts that sound dramatic and big but technically are not too hard to master.

Sonatinas
This book contains sonatinas by Beethoven, Clementi, Dussek, Haydn, Kuhlau, Mozart, and Schubert. It also has Prelude in C by Bach, and a capriccio by Mendelsohn.

Sonatina Album
This book has a wonderful selection of sonatinas for the serious pianist. It includes Clementi, Kulau, Schubert, Mozart, etc. It is a book that will be enjoyed by students for years.
