The instrumentation is for E-flat Clarinet (or B-Clarinet 3), B-flat Clatinet 1,2, Alto Clarinet ( or B-flat Clarinet 4, or Basset Horn), Bass Clarinet, Contrabass Clarinet (or Contra-Alto Clarinet). The Contrabass Clarinet part can be omitted. That is, it can be also played with 4 B-flat clarinets and a Bass Clarinet only.
