Its soaring melody and substantial text make it a perfect choice for Christmas concerts, or as a prelude or offertory in church services. The violin part could also be played on flute. The live recording has some background noise from a baby in the first minute or so, but it gets better, and is preferable to a MIDI recording! Two copies are required for performance.
