SKU: A0.571779

Composed by James Michael Stevens. Arranged by James Michael Stevens. 20th Century,Concert,New Age,Standards,World. Score. 3 pages. James M Stevens Music ASCAP #427851. Published by James M Stevens Music ASCAP (A0.571779).

Written on September 20, 2015, this is an original piano composition designed with the intermediate student in mind. It is in an ABA format with the keys being D flat major, A major, and D flat major. These are distantly related keys in which a simple common tone modulation is used to transition between the two keys - the D flat becomes (enharmonically) the C sharp which is the third of the A major chord and then back. This very quiet and simple reflection and relaxation. James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN. "2015 Piano Contest" - Duration - 2:03  2016 Steinway Contest Winner.
