This is my arrangement for classical guitar duo of Irish folk tune Sheebeg and Sheemore by Turlough O'Carolan.

My aim for this arrangement was to have slow and evocative intro and outro sections bracket a passionate rendition of O’Carolan’s tune.

The piece starts quietly and slowly with an introduction I've written based on the melody of the B section of  Sheebeg and Sheemore. The performers then play the traditional tune. The melody moves up an octave for verse 3. The piece then slows for Verse 4 and an outro I've also written.

The piece is formatted as score and parts in one pdf.
