By The Guess Who. By Burton Cummings. Arranged by Rita Arendz. Contemporary. Brass Band. 29 pages. Rita Arendz #6441453. Published by Rita Arendz (A0.1001553).

"Share the Land" is the title track of the 1970's album by the rock band The Guess Who.  It was the Band's seventh album and the first one where Burton Cummings took the artist lead after the departure of Randy Bachman.  And no one was disappointed as it was a chart-topper.  The song reached #10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on Canada's RPM.

This song would begin their signature style of a wonderful mix of blues and gospel rock with "ear-worm" melodies.  An excellent crowd pleaser!

Scored for the smaller British Brass Band's repertoire with a minimum of 9 parts (11 players) up to a full band.  Duration ~ 2:20.
