Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.948677

Composed by Bradley Powell (The Candlelight Guitarist). 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Jazz. Guitar Tab. 9 pages. Geofonica Artistworks #3590673. Published by Geofonica Artistworks (A0.948677).

Light 'n' jazzy fingerstyle guitar solo in 7/4 time (TAB plus standard notation) for good intermediate to advanced fingerstyle guitarists... for enjoyment and performances. Composed by Bradley Powell, who records CDs as The Candlelight Guitarist. "Seven Sunflowers" is a track from his CD Sunflower Serenity (2006).  Seven Sunflowers opens as a moderate rubato (freely, not strict tempo), then mid-way goes into a jazzy 7/4 (feeling almost like a jazz waltz).

This live 2008 video has a few very slight variations from the 2006 original. Most of the 2008 variations are notated in the sheet music here as "cue notes" with one inset variation.
THIS SHEET MUSIC is based on the original recorded version. The 2006 and 2008 versions are nearly identical (no measures are added or subtracted), and this sheet serves both. You can listen to Brad's original CD audio version on YouTube here:

Brad Powell is a talented and highly trained California guitarist and composer who calls himself "The Candlelight Guitarist", and for good reason. His music is perfect for situations in which candlelight figures prominently. Quiet meditation, romance, intellectual stimulation – the soft, pure tones of his Spanish and classic instrumental style open up your heart and render it more receptive to the spiritual messages that these pursuits engender."
