Commissioned by the City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band for the 2024 Australian National Band Championships.
"Service" is a homage to ANZAC Day traditions around Australia and includes a march, hymn and section representing the guest speaker. The piece uses musical references to The Last Post and other musical attributes of modern Australian ANZAC Day ceremonies. It is a tribute to the bands people who payed the ultimate price and those that now pay their respects every year with their service to their community. Lest We Forget.
