Arranged so this incredible work could be accessible to the SSA middle school choir, the key has been changed from F major to C major for range considerations, and portions have been cut to reduce the runtime from 10 minutes to 6 minutes. The original SATB and orchestra parts were re-worked from Brahms' score with the goal of maintaining faithfulness to the source material. Part ranges are as follows: soprano 1 (C4 to E5), soprano 2 (A3 to F5), alto (Ab3 to C5).
