Alexis Hollander (1840-1924) was a German conductor and composer. He studied the piano and organ in Breslau and later philosophy as well as theory and composition in Berlin. He remained in Berlin after his studies. His compositions include many piano pieces, songs, choral works, and chamber music. His style was clearly influenced by Schumann.
