Schaum Album: The Ragtime Book
5 STARS! This is the nicest Ragtime Book, very much like Dennis Alexanders Mr.A's Ragtime pieces - it's really the easiest of all of the Ragtime piano books to start learning with, as I have ALL of them! It's got the coolest sounding kinda JAZZY Rags in it, the LH Bass is often non-legato, very easy, the RH syncopated melody is not very hard to learn, great for level: Late Elementary - Early Intermediate. Honestly, the very best First Book for learning RAGTIME, enjoy!
