Published by Jason Howard (A0.918798).Hi! I arranged this piece and a few others years ago, when I was part of an student led acapella group in college. The group never had the opportunity to finish learning and/or perform any of the arrangements, but I felt like it was such a shame for them to just sit on my computer for all these years. So I decided to make them public here.
"Scars to Your Beautiful" is the first of a handful of contemporary acapella pieces that I'll be uploading here. It's probably the easier of the ones I arranged for that particular group, but I did not want to overly complicate things and detract from the original message of the piece. Self-acceptance in a world of vanity and image manipulation.

A little about me:
My name is Jason Howard, and at the time of this publication, I'm going into my 5th year as a band director at the middle and high school levels. I have quite a bit of experience with arranging of various types of vocal and instrumental ensembles and combos. Most are for personal use, but as I get time, I hope to publish more and more for public consumption! Primarily, I focus on popular music, and I one day hope to bring important and influential classical musics to audiences and younger students everywhere!
