Composed by Reinhold Moritzovich Gliere. Arranged by James Pybus. Classical,Contest,Festival. 14 pages. James Pybus #6083863. Published by James Pybus (A0.764714).

Possibly the most famous dance from Glière's ballet The Red Poppy is the Sailors Dance, sometimes referred to as the Russian Sailors’ Dance (although it is described as Dance of the Sailors from the Soviet Ship in the score and libretto). This lively dance occurs at the end of Act One. It is this musical selection for which Glière is perhaps best known. This arrangement for SSABCb Clarinet Quintet includes a substitute part for Alto Clarinet (3rd Clarinet). It is suitable for concert programs as a finale or an encore. Duration is 1:58.
