It is arranged for mountain dulcimer in 1-5-8 or DAD tuning. The arrangement makes use of a 1+ and 0+ fret, making it somewhat chromatic.
Intended for the intermediate level player with a solid knowledge of three finger chords and chord-melody style. The primary challenge will be building and holding down the three finger chords while moving on the melody string.
