This energetic and rhythmic work is meant to inspire the musicians while also intended to be fun to perform. Most of the music is driven by a 6-note motive heard throughout the work. A slower contrasting B-section, which is also based on the motive, moves the piece into temporary adversity. After a transition, the original motive triumphantly returns and a short coda follows.
