- The solos in this new series will be presented in the simplest possible way.
- Doubling up the duration length of notes in the standard notation means the music looks less cluttered making it easier to read.
- The music is written in standard notation and tab.
- The solo is split into smaller sections, each one being explained with hints on common difficulties
- Each step is taken slowly - when the first one is completed, move onto the second. When that is completed, then play the first and second together. Continue building up the different sections in this way to build a strong solo.
- Left hand fingering is often overlooked when learning a solo. For this reason, the fingering is shown underneath the music – use this and it will make the solo flow.
