1 solo flute, 3 C flutes, 1 alto flute and 1 bass flute is the minimum, but the arrangement suits well to larger flute choirs. Contrabass flute is optional.
If you have more than 1 flute for each part, the first musician should play the "solo" parts, and all the others the tutti part.
