Composed by Jim Parker. Arranged by Trevor Wharton. 21st Century,Film/TV,March. 27 pages. Bumpmusic Editions #1007034. Published by Bumpmusic Editions (A0.1426312).

Ground Force was a British garden makeover television series originally broadcast by the BBC between 1997 and 2005.

The programmes opening and closing theme was composed by Jim Parker and performed by the Black Dyke Band. The theme reflects the busy activity involved in the projects. Over the main themes there are often short musical interjections at faster pace possibly denoting a burst of activity somewhere in the garden.

This arrangement for Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Trombone and Euphonium requires a precisness of articulation and an awareness of musical balance between the part. Although fairly quick there should be an underlying clamness to the piece.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
