By Anna Elashvili. By Franz Schubert. Arranged by Anna Elashvili. Chamber,Classical. 41 pages. Anna Elashvili #983618. Published by Anna Elashvili (A0.1403457).

This arrangement of Schubert's Der Erlkonig (The Erlking) seeks to enhance the different characters personified in Goethe's text by using a variety of timbres that are unique to a string quartet.  The narrator, father, child and the Erlking (a magical mythical being) are in dialogue through this extraordinary work that Schubert wrote about a dying child.  The vocal part can also be sung by a soprano.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
