Pop balladeer Richard Marx penned a string of successful soft rock hits in the 80's and early 90's, starting with two that he gave to singer Kenny Rogers in 1984 that would eventually become hits. He recorded his self-titled debut in 1987 and it yielded four big singles, most notably Hold On To The Nights. The 1989 follow-up record Repeat Offender was also a hit, largely on the strength of the tender ballad Right Here Waiting. This karaoke collection features great songs from those two records as well as one from his third album, 1991's Rush Street. A treat!
