Made famous by Ginger Rodgers & Fred Astaire in the 1934 film, The Gay Divorcee, The Continental was the first song to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was a favorite of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and many others.

This arrangement shows off the full range of the harp while using Latin rhythms. There are techniques such as open hands to silence lower strings, glissandos, enharmonic notes and pedal slides. It transitions from the key of Eb to Ab and has a wonderful ending.
