(9 Brass) This arrangement of Kenny Wheeler's composition features a loose samba/swing groove that will give your drummer something to think about. Flugelhorn is featured, along with some space for the pianist. Lead alto doubles on soprano and tenor I and baritone saxophones double on flute. A slippery soli passage for flutes, soprano, alto, tenor and muted trumpet as well as a reharmonization for brass of the original Keith Jarrett chorale add to the freshness of this atypical arrangement.
