Pal Joey opened on Broadway on Christmas Day, 1940. Based on the novel by John O'Hara, it focuses on a seedy Chicagao nightclub owner who falls in love with the naive Linda English. The production has been revived several times and was even turned into a popular 1957 film starring Frank Sinatra and Rita Heyworth. With music by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, the show produced the pop standards I Could Write A Book and Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. Sing these and other fabulous songs from the timeless musical!
Each Pocket Songs PSCD album contains a complete performance with a professional vocalist as well as the karaoke tracks of each song, for the at-home performer. PSCD discs can be played on a regular CD player and do not contain graphics.
