After the first verse, one voice breaks into a lyrical chorus longing for the mother who has abandoned them, while the other voice continues the rap into a second verse. When the second voice again begins the lyrical line, the rap ends and the first voice joins in a melancholy duet. The song was written for the characters in the story, THE HOARDERS, and enriches the reading. Suitable for music or reading classes grades 4 to 7.
