The Marching Chiefs consists of students from almost every academic department within Florida State University. The Chiefs have averaged 400 members or more each year since the mid 1980s. Their unique blend of traditional and contemporary marching styles demonstrates their commitment to the past, but with an eye toward the future. They use only their own unique arrangements that are custom designed by expert arrangers to produce the famous Marching Chiefs' "Wall of Sound." Recognized as the "band that never lost a halftime" by Sports Illustrated, the Chiefs have performed for audiences at the International Trade Fair in Damascus and for the World Football League in London. In addition, the Chiefs perform at all home and select away football games as well as the annual post-season bowl game. This release includes their 2015 halftime show "Star Wars," as well as favorite stands tunes, fight songs, and patriotic numbers.
