Coldplay's 2014 hit "A Sky Full Of Stars," co-written and produced with Avicii, was an instant top 10 hit on the charts in 16 countries and received a Grammy nomination. The song was Coldplay's first dance track, but the lyrics are more along the lines of a sweet love ballad, making this song a popular request for weddings and receptions.

I wrote this arrangement for two-violin and cello trio because I've had to play other peoples' versions that were really weird, and I wanted to create one that not only sounds better but is more user-friendly to play! This arrangement is perfect for pop concerts, solo & ensemble contests, weddings, receptions, and even proposals - it's full of beautiful layered harmonies, soaring melodies, and a driving beat that will be sure to get your audience dancing! Rated advanced-intermediate for some tricky syncopated rhythms (the same ones repeat throughout), but this arrangement will be playable for students and easily sightreadable for professionals.

Sarah "Cellobat" Chaffee earned her bachelor's degree in cello performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and is now based in Las Vegas. She currently performs with Aerosmith in their "Deuces Are Wild" residency at The Park MGM Theater, and she regularly performs at Allegiant Stadium as a member of the house band for the Las Vegas Raiders football team. Sarah is also the principal cellist in David Perrico's Pop Strings Orchestra, a world-renowned 14-piece dance band, and she plays regularly for Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, and the Femmes Of Rock. Sarah has performed and recorded with many other artists including Halsey, Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Michael Bublé, Kygo, Ricky Martin, Sarah Brightman, Il Divo, and Lady Antebellum.
