A piece that both lives and thrives in the realm of polymodal composition, the work should be performed with a certain level of ambiguity that would elicit an emotional response of wonder. With thin texture for the majority of the duration of the composition, there should be a sense of shock as well that comes from the melodic contours that may sometimes follow their own will. This should be done so in a way that the most careful preparation could come off as beautiful improvisation to the audience. Live in the areas of monotonality, polymodality, and sumptuously modified pentatonic composition.
