Composed by Parker Edwards. Contemporary. Score. 8 pages. Parker Edwards #3514917. Published by Parker Edwards (A0.1028446).

Prélude pour l'âme agitée, is a modern-classical work written for solo piano. Based around concepts of Neo-Romanticism, it bears similarities to composers such as Schumann, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin. Originally in French, the title translates to Prelude for the restless soul in English. The main themes and motifs tell the story of a lost soul on an uncertain path, plagued by sadness and false hope.

Parker Edwards is a 16 year old composer from Texas, who plans to major in music. He has studied piano for over ten years, and composed for just over four years. This piece is meant to be written as an equal to that of the romantic piano literature and is of an advanced skill level.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
