Published by Rocco Di Pietro (A0.1004752).'Prayer' is the third movement of my 5 movement "Symphony-The Art of Imaginal Listening" under way since 2009. This 'Prayer' has a wordless Female Chorus,a solo cellist and a modest orchestra of: Oboe, English Horn,2 Clarinets,2 Horns, Harp, and Strings.It was inspired by several sources, which all seem to have played themselves out, as the work involved an extended spritual struggle.You could say it was the struggle of someone who was not a believer,but who might have liked to be.The text of the chorus was erased,and became wordless. A symbolic of this spritual struggle.
