The central section (marked Nobilmente) is simpler than the two outer sections, and could be performed separately. The two outer sections are more complicated, requiring nimble fingers and accurate tonguing. I often do arrangements for twelve Bb clarinets simply because I love the term dodecet! And the sonorities are amazing.
