Composed by Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky. Arranged by Diana L. Appler. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 176 pages. Diana L. Appler #6245511. Published by Diana L. Appler (A0.891091).

The last two musical scenes from Mussorgsky's Pictures At An Exhibition are colorful depictions of a large Russian clock and a great gate that was envisioned to be built in Kiev. Originally a piano piece, Pictures At An Exhibition was a tribute to his personal friend the artist Victor Hartmann. It has been orchestrated many times for orchestra and even occasionally for winds. This powerful orchestration will leave both the audience and performers exhilarated and uplifted as one can feel the enormous size as you approach and pass through The Great Gate of Kiev.  This completes a 4 set compilation.  Parts only, oversize score sold separately.
