Piano ETUDES-preparatory
Am using this with an 8 year old boy who transferred to me. He had been in a very easy preparatory method and I moved him into Thompson First Grade Book. The Piano ETUDES are perfect in that they follow along exactly with the extra technical work needed to supplement the method. As he started the second piece in Thompson, the first etude in the book lined up perfectly. Since the etude is in C, with the right hand one octave up, its great for getting the students out of their comfort zone a little bit but not so much they get frustrated.
