They make the artistic essence shine anew as a personal reading - more peaceful and less stirring than the original work, yet with great expressiveness.
The first movement - in the original an 8-minute epic - is strongly reduced in Felix Reuter's work. He maintains the unmistakable, thunderous opening of the - Grave - and the harmony, but dissolves it according to his own stylistic sense. The composer has also inserted his own, booming middle section in a modern style of playing, in rhythmic reference to the beginning of the work.
In this edition the piano sheet music of the first movement are included. Movements 2 and 3 are also available as sheet music editions.
