Composed by Turlough O'carolan. Arranged by Jill Elliott. Baroque,Celtic,Christian,Sacred. Score and parts. 5 pages. Daffiddle Music #5799631. Published by Daffiddle Music (A0.925241).

Planxty Irwin is one of the most beloved melodies composed by the 18th century Irish harpist, Turlough O'Carolan. With words adapted from the gospel of St. John, chapter 14, we have found it good to play during communion, especially when the focus is on peace, but the instrumental arrangement is suitable for any occasion, whilst with the addition of a singer it can be useful in various settings. The mp3 is in the key of D, but this makes the vocal part rather high, if you want congregational participation, so I have published this arrangement in C.  .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
