Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by Frank Starobin. 20th Century,Christmas,Concert,Romantic Period,Wedding. 24 pages. Frank Starobin #3225803. Published by Frank Starobin (A0.874052).

Gabriel Fauré wrote his Pavane for Orchestra and Optional Chorus is 1887. The work was based on the processional Spanish court dance of the same name. While there are already several woodwind arrangements of Pavane, these arrangements contain issues that this woodwind quintet arrangement solves through idiomatic part writing, balanced scoring, interesting instrument doublings, and all around better orchestration.  A replacement B-flat Clarinet part is provided.
