The beautiful 'Panorama' is a short musical interlude in the ballet, where the Lilac Fairy guides the chosen Prince to the hidden castle where Princess Aurora has been in an enchanted sleep for a hundred years. Richard Simm's arrangement for 2 pianos captures the harp ornamentation, the gently pulsing wind instruments and the lovely melodic line of the violins in the original orchestration.
