'Over There' is a 1917 song written by George M. Cohan that was popular with the United States military and public during both world wars. From 2009 in the United Kingdom the song was adapted for use on a long-running series of television advertisements for the financial services comparison website 'Go Compare' and featuring the Welsh singer Wynne Evans.
