In June 2005, while attending the annual International Rotary Convention in Chicago, I found myself enthralled and captivated by the many motivational speeches, the memorable ceremonies, and the heartfelt fellowship of the attendees from all over the world, who gathered to celebrate the one hundred year anniversary of the founding of Rotary International.
Years later, it was brought to my attention that board members were exploring the idea of a new Rotarian Anthem. Remembering the extraordinary and enlightening experiences at the Chicago convention, I composed this song OURROTARY. It is dedicated to all the men and women who make up this very important and worthwhile organization.
As my way of giving back, I present this song to Rotary International. Its continued beneficial contribution and service to the world is paramount...making the world a better place in which to live.
