He wrote the poem while watching an inspirational sunset, shortly after his grandfather's passing and composed the music the following day. This piece was sung all over France during the Point Loma Singers 2019 European Tour and is featured on their CD under the same name.

I can see it
I can see the outline of your grace
the greatness of your beauty in the setting sky
The wide expanse of Your world
and I see;
blue, pink, gray, yellow, rose, and purple, and green
red, teal, indigo, citrine, white, and magenta, and gold
Light breaks and bends the clouds around all turn to You You give us times like these to show us You are here One glimpse of heaven and then it's gone one simple glimpse and then it's gone ©2018 John-William Gambrell
