This 3-1/2 minute work was written on the occasion of Daughtrey's grandfather's 90th birthday. It is meant to capture and "reflect" on the many wonderful memories of fishing with his grandfather with bamboo poles and live worms in the old pond behind his grandparents' house in rural southern Virginia. Originally written for solo piano, Daughtrey has adapted the work for marimba/vibraphone and vibraphone.
