Part 1. Soprano Cornet/Trumpet in Eb or Cornet/Trumpet in Bb
Part 2. Cornet/Trumpet in Bb
Part 3. Tenor Horn in Eb, Horn in F, Baritone in Bb and Trombone (bass clef)
Part 4. Euphonium/Baritone/Trombone (treble and bass clef) and Bass in Eb
Optional Percussion (Drum Kit or Cajon)
Note that this allows for a variety of less common instrumental combinations, for example, Trombone Quartet, or 2 Euphoniums and 2 Basses, or even 2 Tenor Horns (playing from parts 1 & 2 in Bb) plus Euphonium (playing from Horn in F) and Eb Bass (playing from Euphonium in treble clef).
With school and amateur ensembles in mind, this arrangement is designed for intermediate players and above. Percussion (Drum Kit or Cajon) can be added for additional colour if desired, but is not essential for a convincing performance.
The music is faithful in spirit to the original, with everyone having their moments in the spotlight as themes are shared by the players across the ensemble.
The PDF is 28 pages in length (portrait A4) and includes a score and parts plus optional percussion, with additional parts as described above to allow substitution where required for non standard ensembles.
