This is descriptive composition at its finest! The music tells the story of the battle at Fort Meigs, Ohio during the War of 1812. The listener is taken from the calm sunrise, through the intensity and tulmultuous events of that fateful day. The quiet of the early dawn hours, the distant trumpet calls and sounds of thundering canons bring history to life through riveting music! Highly recommended!
